Inspiring brand feature: sharing about Ganesha in different art forms :
Indian folk art forms usually include depictions of local deities, or gods belonging to specific regions. But if there is one deity, that’s also widely known for his omnipresence, it’s Ganesha.
Here is Ganesha perceived by different art forms throughout India, ranging on the map from one direction to another.
1. Gond Art, Madhya Pradesh : surrounded by a tree, and his vehicle, mooshak (mouse)
2. Kalighat Pat, West Bengal : sitting around a lotus.
3. Phad, Rajasthan : seen here with his wives Siddhi & Buddhi, accompanied by two devotees and the mooshak.
4. Tanjore Painting, Tamil Nadu : seen sitting on a throne, with mooshak near his feet. decorated by the signature thanjavur gold.
5. Madhubani, Bihar : seen sitting with mooshak, surrounded by a tree, much like the Gond painting.
