💪🏽 True strength is in HUMILITY 🫶🏼 a quality that’s always been the most attractive to me . It’s reflected in the eyes of a devotee - take hanu as the perfect embodiment of this 🪷

In Kalari we keep touching the earth as a way to remain rooted , pay our respects and allow the awareness to drop from the ego-creating mind into the feeling-sentient body . 🥷

As our Guruji Laxmanji says “ Through the spine and breath we are able to connect with the Para Shakti 🌀

It’s the body that will give confidence to the mind not the other way round so trust and prepare your body - lean into the fear with your body . Play with your body it will develop into trust because everything is not in your control - it is your bodys’ intelligence - the body won’t let you fall ( due to the centre of gravity) - allow body to react rather than you creating more suppression or force .

Fear is very important for a warrior - it makes you more aware of your body - that’s what makes you stronger and helps protect yourself . 💪🏽 You need fear, anger , tears - it happens through the knowledge in the body not just the mind - so when you do the movement you release the anger in a more precise controlled way where you don’t allow it to fully take over you but you move with it . “

Currently this mother of all martial arts form Kalaripayattu is teaching me to move with my fears . Playing with my discomforts that is the sādhanā which reminds me of . The struggle is the practice ; this is not performance . 🙏🏽

Only one student signed up for my Pilgrimage of the Heart retreat and it’s been the most rewarding journey I’ve been on. Humble reminder that the biggest gifts are not the necessarily the most financially rewarding ones . The most significant success stories - are the internal battles you win , ones invisible to the naked eye but definitely felt and experienced by your heart-mind even though to the world it may appear you lost . Failure then can be the most humbling experience for the ego and victory for the heart ♥️

In a world that glorifies the business of yoga (again nothing wrong with it ) - feels like a privilege to be leading from the heartspace for nothing in exchange -but in essence receiving the abundance of joy , presence and love that no financially successful venture has ever made me feel.

Reminder for those who feel they aren’t doing enough or making enough of an impact or chasing those blue ticks / 100 likes - start being brutally honest with yourself and you prolly will see you have it all rigged in your favour indeed. ❣️

It’s all grace 🙏🏽 it’s all blessings in disguise . It’s all his Leela .

Something so sacred about small , intimate offerings - 1:1 . Small family run boutique stay , handmade food and simple quiet living. 🤫

Makes me contemplate on guru-shishya parampara which was always one -on-one - to really dive deep with the student rather than go wide; on a surface level with multiple students .

From a personal perspective this offering has been by far been my most intimate and transformative offering from the heart - one that truly made me feel like I am worthy of sharing my gifts 🌻

Most of the other times it’s more of an ego flex seeing so many students or touching so many souls. But this was deeply personal & reminds me of my mums’ words when she birthed her baby Prisim “even if you touch one soul on a grassroot level and build deep roots you’ve fulfilled the vision and mission of this space .” I truly feel such santosha-vibes on my journey today - not cos of some achievement apart from truly building roots - deep deep roots than help me share and grow simultaneously. 🌳

My student told me - “ sometimes when we make a commitment and dishonour it - our body doesn’t trust ourself anymore . “ we often tell ourselves we’ll do so and so and never end up doing it (I’m guilty of it myself too ) but the times we actually see through the end we tell our inner child “it’s safe to trust me” . Building safety and home in myself has been the heart of this offering - so grateful for the medicine, the magic and the mountains . 🏔️ ✨ 👶🏻

There is something quietly powerful about embodied practice —
the light in someone’s eyes, the truth you feel in how they move through the world when they’re touched by something they can’t fully explain.

Over the years, I’ve felt that deeper pull — a kind of sacred remembering.
Through plant food, sound medicine, yoga, kirtan… different paths, one longing:
to return to source.
That is what I felt on my first visit to Kainchidham. 🛕

I’m still humbled by his divine ways — लीला
So I’m simply sharing small glimpses of my time here.
This isn’t a pitch. It isn’t polished or promotional.
Because there is magic in the mundane ✨

And if something in this simple raw offering speaks to your heart,
you’re most welcome to walk with us.
