I tried for the first time.Their RASAM IS TO DIE FOR!
I wanted to eat in authentic South Indian. I ended up ordering the Non-vegetarian meals and Sivabalan ordered the chicken biriyani.
The minute we sat at the table, we were shown a variety of sides, Crab, prawns, Brain, Squid, Chicken, Fish fry, Kola urundai.. I was so excited I didn't take a picture of any of it.
We ordered the brain, 65, Mutton kola and some podimas (It is my favourite way to eat eggs 😬)
Kola urundai : perfectly spiced, soft, subtle (9/10)
Chicken 65 : Tasty, crispy (9/10)
Non- vegetarian Meals : The prawns were in a really tangy tomato sauce and the chicken was hard. Ngl, I was hurt by how sweet the "nethu vecha meen kolambu" was. Shallots do add in some level sweetness but it didn't balance. However, that's my opinion ( I hope likes it) My heart literally broke. THE RASAM ❤️ I love not so overpowering sweets so their warm bread halwa was another ❤️ (7/10)
Chicken Biriyani: Subtle and warm flavours. (8/10)
It is definitely one of the few joints in the city that offers good South Indian 💖 also, I promise to take better photos before I eat 😬

We went to Santana, the one after Moonrakers in Mahabs ✨
Overall experience: Food with a spectacular view!
Out of a table of food, the Tawa prawns were YUMMAI. Perfect amount of spice, well- balanced, soft prawns that were bite-sized. But, I wouldn't go all the way to Mahabs to eat it.
The food was pretty average.We order a whole Barramundi. The fish was steamed and a very red gravy was added on top of the fish. We were generously served some extra gravy to dip our bland fishes in. Was absolutely disappointed. 🥺
I am not a big fan of squid (haters can't comment) but the garlic butter for the golden squid was not appetizing to look at.
The fish gravy's masala was raw and there was nothing to balance out the spiciness. I love spicy,tangy, fish curries thus, it was another let down for me.
The fried rice was average.
Yes, there was a red alert and we had one hell of a day 🌟

Failed Focaccia appreciation post✨✨
I have tried baking Focaccia thrice now :P The third time, the texture was close(the one in the picture) but I didn't get the colour :(
I don't know, maybe I am over proofing. Maybe it is the oven. May be it is the flour . I don't know 💔
I will keep trying to find a recipe that works and keep you guys posted. But I am proud of these Focaccia babies 💛
