The Green Apron is a small family run preserve and tea business
based in the wilds of West Limerick. Its really is a full family business- everybody works.Theresa makes the preserves in small batches using traditional methods in our farmhouse kitchen and everyone else labels, packs and sells the preserves. We grow a lot of our own fruit and vegetables for the preserves in the walled garden and or

chards at our family's castle at Glenwilliam (everyone helps in the gardens too). We also spend most of our time during the autumn months out foraging in the fields and hedgerows for wild fruit for our range of wild jellies. We have won numerous awards for our preserves- both national and international which we really appreciate - its great to have our hard work recognised. We also run sustainable living workshops and classes at our farmhouse and in many venues across the country

Our bestselling and award-winning cookbook "Fruit on the Table" - a seasonal fruit cookbook is available from all good bookshops and online.
