Thanks Killarney Advertiser!

Local artisan street food spot Tango on the Muckross Road is set to feature on TG4 this Wednesday evening, September 30, at 8.30pm.

The Killarney restaurant will be showcased on Bia Úr, a television series exploring food, culture, identity, and the story of immigrant communities making Ireland home.

Filming took place last year with Beloved Media Productions, capturing the story of how traditional Argentinian recipes, empanadas, pizza, and parrilla helped the family build their business and home in Kerry after moving to Ireland with their four sons.

During the episode, the team cooked traditional dishes, shared the personal journey behind setting up Tango, and even taught presenter Kirsten the art of empanada repulgue.

Argentina was home. Then Ireland became home too. 🇦🇷🇮🇪

When we arrived in Ireland with our four boys, we had plenty of ideas and absolutely no clue where the journey would take us.

Somewhere along the way, food became the bridge.

Empanadas, pizza, parrilla and the recipes we grew up with gave us a way to hold onto Argentina while slowly building a home and eventually Tango here in Ireland.

Last year, TG4 and belovedmediaproductions spent a day with us filming for Bia Úr, a series about food, culture, identity and the immigrant communities who have made Ireland home.

We cooked. We talked. Kirsten learned a little empanada repulgue. Facu made pizza. And we shared parts of our journey that go far beyond the restaurant.

Some parts are joyful. Others are much more personal.

Our episode airs Wednesday 30 September at 8.30pm on TG4

One week ago, I had the absolute pleasure of being part of Feast of Fire with the amazing crew at Smoking Soul 🔥

What a night. Fire, food, music, rock & roll, great people and that special feeling you only get when everyone comes together around the flames.

Huge thanks to Smoking Soul for having me and for letting me be part of it. And a massive thank you to everyone who made it happen — Devil’s Menu, Smoke Devon’s, and every single person who brought their energy, passion and madness to the fire.

These are the moments that make it all worthwhile. ❤️‍🔥

And the best part… we’re doing it again in just a few days at Electric Picnic.
