Well, here is what we offer in Sarah’s in the Courtyard.

Our own blend of specialty coffee supplied by Soma,a Cork coffee roaster.

All cakes and scones baked here in the Courtyard kitchen.

Energy balls supplied by a local supplier.

Homemade soup from fresh vegetables with brown bread or a sandwich/toastie.

The Grand Finale 2026!

The Verdant Troupe at Doneraile Park

Join The Verdant Troupe on 2nd August as we gather for our final outdoor performance of the 2026 season in Doneraile Park.

There is no better place to bid farewell than the breathtaking, historical surroundings of Doneraile Park.

Step into a world where history and drama intertwine. This fabulous afternoon brings history and drama together with a remarkable cast of characters from across time.

Wander the paths beside your expert guide as you encounter the ghostly phantoms of Henry V111 and Irish Chieftain Nicholas Synan. Around the bend of the river Awbeg you will meet the feared Earl of Inchiquin.

As you move forward through history you will happen upon the spirited kitchen maid Bridget fetching water and from there to the quiet intrigue of The Lady Free Mason.

Enter the Pleasure Garden and hear the nature and fashion loving Lady May describe her passions and from here take a few moments to hear U.S. Supreme Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes in conversation with literary icon Lady Gregory.

From here step into the tranquil walled gardens to meet John Haycroft, master gardener and Doneraile man before culminating with Lord Barnaby & Lady Ursula Castletown on the terrace.

Whether you are a devotee of theatre, a lover of the great outdoors or simply want to lose yourself this afternoon, we promise wit, wonder and unforgettable memories.
