Hi to everyone! What a fabulous day its been huh? 1/. sun shining! 2/. got the washing out on the line!! 3/ . John in a good mood!! (well football is on TV!) and saving the best till last!! 4/ . Had a lovely omlette cooked by Dave, and not only that; actually met the lovely lass who runs this lovely site!! - Now can anyone top that!!!!

John had his usual 'jelly & ice-cream' anfd I had a portion of Home-made Apple Pie with ice-cream, followed by a lovely pot of tea! It was so lovely I had another pot all to meself!! It is not ONLY the fine home cooked food that makes the Pilgrims Rest the best restaurant in Knock, but the fact that once in there, the atmosphere makes it very hard to leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love to Dave; Lindsay; and all the 'team' from Brenda Grubb & John #################################X

Word of advice:- Never ever say that you have just eaten the best meal there ever was cooked!!! I'll tell you for why - Today we had a taste of Dave's Home made custard; now I'm quite an expert at eating home made custard. My Dear Mother always made her own of what ever we ate - and Daves cooking matches up to mum's cooking in just about every way, no kidding - and , no!! I'm not getting free meals ; or, being paid in any way to post my thoughts, - (just in case anyone was wondering)! This man MUST have a direct link to The Kitchen in the Divine Realms! - (Always supposing they have one, up there?)
