STRANGE ART is now showing inside Marino Church, Wolfe Tone Square, Bantry, until Saturday 5th September.

Open 11am–5pm — and you’ll find us just outside for a crêpe afterwards 🥞

Sometimes running your own business means the plan changes before you've even had your morning coffee. 😅

Childminder sick this morning, no replacement available… so La Crêperie had to stay closed.

Not exactly what I had planned for a Monday. 🙈

But we turned it into a day of adventures — exploring, playing, lunch together and finishing by the sea. 🌊❤️

Did I lose a day's trading? Yes.

Did we have a brilliant day together? Also yes.

Business can wait. This little guy can't. 💙

The All-Ireland Coastal Rowing Championships are coming to town from 14–16 August — and La Crêperie Nomade will be ready for all those hungry rowers, families and supporters. 🥞

Sometimes the best places are the ones we discover by chance.

If you're in Bantry, take a few minutes to visit the art exhibition at before 16th August.

You'll find beautiful paintings, handmade pottery, and postcards created by talented local artists. It's a lovely, peaceful space and a wonderful way to support creativity in our community.

People often ask me how I do it.

The truth is... I don't always know.

Some days are heavy. Running a small business. Being a single mum. Trying to become a better version of myself while raising a little boy.

But every morning, I get another chance.

I open the hatch. I make the batter. I welcome every customer with a smile.

And at the end of the day, I go home to the little person who reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.

La Crêperie Nomad has never just been about crêpes.

It's about building a life. One galette. One customer. One day at a time.

After closing the truck, I got a message from my apple juice supplier... they wouldn't be able to deliver to me tomorrow.

With only a few bottles left, there was only one thing to do.

After dinner, I drove to Mealgulla Orchard, Ovens,
to collect three crates of fresh apple juice, so everything would be ready for this morning.

These are the moments customers rarely see, but they're all part of running a small independent business.

A huge thank you to Mealgulla Orchard for producing such amazing local apple juice. 🍎❤️

What happens after the last crêpe is served? 🥞✨

Most people see the finished product, but not the hour that comes after closing. Every evening the truck gets cleaned from top to bottom, ready for another day.

Behind every crêpe is a lot of hard work... but I wouldn't have it any other way. ❤️
