From the Dutch language : klappertaart; Klapper word combination “coconut” + taart “cake “
is known as the manado cake with coconut basis, wheat flour, milk, butter, and eggs. The recipe for the dough was an influence during the Dutch occupation in manado. There are different kinds of klappertaart cooking. When baked and used bread, it produces klappertaart in solid form, which can be cut out like a common taart cake. But there is also a method of cooking that is not cooked. It will produce a silky texture. It tastes best when it’s cold so it shouldn’t stay outside of the cooler for too long
