So much more than "mocktails."

Dinner is about more than what's on the plate. It's also about what's in your glass. We've always believed that ordering a drink without alcohol shouldn't mean compromising on flavor, creativity or the experience.

That's why our Zero Proof Creations and house-fermented shrubs weren't designed as stand-ins for cocktails. They were created to be ordered because they're just delicious.

Crafted with fresh ingredients, bold flavor and plenty of personality, they're every bit as thoughtful as everything else behind our bar.

The Story Behind our house-made shrubs.

If you've spent enough time at Roots, you've probably been encouraged to try one. 😄

Not kombucha. Not soda. Just fruit, herbs, sugar, vinegar and a little patience, transformed into something bright, refreshing and unlike anything else on our menu.

If it's your first time, start with the Pineapple & Pandan. Tropical upfront, gently fragrant at the finish, and poured over ice with sparkling soda. If you've ever wondered why we're always going on about these mysterious fruit vinegar refreshers... now you know. 😉

No two bowls come out quite the same, and that’s the point.

Today’s mix: herb lemon couscous with roasted pumpkin and coconut turmeric tofu for warmth, edamame and sauerkraut for crunch, cherry tomato and pomegranate to finish it bright.

08:30, oat milk flat white in hand, and the day already feels right.

10:40, soft scrambled eggs on sourdough, and I'm in no rush to leave.

Noon hits and it's time for my chicken ranch wrap fix.

14:00 slows me down with a strawberry rose matcha, as good as it looks.

18:30, hot chili noodles land on the table and dinner just became the best part of my day.

19:30, mango coconut margarita in hand, and I'm not going anywhere.
