Everyone sees the few minutes on stage.

What often goes unseen are the weeks of preparation, the mental discipline, the routines, and the countless decisions that lead up to competition day.

Last Thursday, at Expat. Roasters Uluwatu, Alif Andira shared an honest look into his journey, from preparing for competition to representing Indonesia on the world stage. More than techniques, the session explored the mindset, habits, and experiences that shape a competitor long before the first cup is served.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought thoughtful questions to the conversation 💭🤎

This is the first stop of many. We'll see you at the next one 😉

Shopping days always have two kinds of stops.

The ones you planned, and the ones you’re glad you made. The kind where you can take a moment to recharge, with a good coffee to match.

We’ll be upstairs whenever you’re ready for a break.
Bags down, mood’s up. Good coffee all around. ☕

And just like that, we're back with Barista Spotlight, where we ask our baristas a few quick questions so you can get to know the people behind your delicious cups a little better 🤎

This week’s spotlight 🤝🏽 Wildan Sukma Perkasa, Expat. Roasters CPI Makassar’s Head Barista

Team Expat. Roasters hit KL! 🇲🇾

Representing Indonesia and competing at the ASEAN Barista Team Championship 2026 gave us the opportunity to showcase our talents while gaining valuable lessons and experiences that we'll carry into future competitions.

One of the best parts was connecting with talented baristas from different countries who share the same passion for coffee. Moments like these make this journey so rewarding.

Most importantly, we truly felt your support every step of the way. Thank you for believing in Team Expat. Roasters and for being part of this journey with us.

Until the next one. See you soon! ☕

Not everyone gets the chance to represent Indonesia on the world stage. But did.

After winning the 2025/2026 Indonesia Cup Tasters Championship, Alif went on to represent Indonesia at the World Cup Tasters Championship in Bangkok last May.

This is the journey that got him there.
