As we have no current Govenor. Minnesotans: Grab a pair of work gloves and a shovel, maybe a hammer. And let's build these homes re-open the closed shelters so we can help our beautiful Cities. Before these people, whom would have us believe that writing words on paper behind big desks is more work than getting our hands a little dirty and actually dig build the necessities of our people.
Yes, people need homes. and Yes homelessness creates substance use dependency, and if you take a quick trip to our cities, you will see that this is not getting better. Every skyscraper is beginning to have more vacancy than even here in Blaine, Mc Donalds is going to automate their food production in the next few years (look up the automated Fast food plans) and this leaves us back to the OG creation of racism.
From the roots of classism, or (elitists) dividing people into classes. As visual beings, it was easy for a ruling class to create divides based on our visual perception of easily identifiable differences. Thus bashing us in the heads that we are so different because of appearence that they created racism in our minds. To make if feel okay that we can treat others differently if we take away one group of peoples homes, ability to access basic life necessities and provide them with substances that are deemed illegal, they can then create the necessary conditions to attack based on these visually perceived differences and create the Monterious industrial prison system. That does not intend to solve these issues, in fact it is to profit on these issues. No rehabilitation or homes for the homeless is that way, no homes makes more drug dealers and people whom have no reason (nothing to lose) to rob, steal, and kill those who have even a little to get what they need to survive.
It's 2024. And WE have Failed, our government has FAILED at even the simplest of tasks. Providing the basics needs of our species. That would allow us to not simply survive but Thrive! 🥰
