Dear friends and loyal guests,
The time has come for the circle of Aletri Tavern to reach its completion. The three brothers who started the taverna back in 1990—Nikos, Andreas, and Christos —now find it's time to say goodbye.
For us, this building was never just a business. It was our grandparents' home, the yard where we grew up, and the place where our parents built their dreams. From 1990 to 2025, we shared with you joys, celebrations, and thousands of moments gathered around a table. We are especially grateful to those of you who have been part of our journey for 35 consecutive years.
As we move forward, we are pleased to announce that we have leased (but not sold ) our tavern to our neighbour , the owner of Atrion Hotel .
We truly believe that the new owners will honor the path we paved, showcasing the tradition, hospitalityand professionalism that a historic place like "Aletri" deserves. We wish them a successful start and great strength from the bottom of our hearts.
While you will no longer find us working daily at the tavern we aren’t going far. This village is our home, and you will surely see us around. In fact, we look forward to returning to the tavern as guests ourselves—especially on those nights with live Greek music. We can’t wait to enjoy a drink and a song right alongside you in the yard we love so much.
In closing, a simple 'thank you' feels too small to express our gratitude. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing by us all these years, for loving our food, and above all, for embracing us and our hard work.
Your support over the last 35 years didn't just build a business; it breathed new life into our family home, and for that, we are eternally grateful.
With sincere appreciation and gratitude,
Nikos, Andreas , Christos and the rest of the family.
