ABOUT US

Established by George and Esther Appiah. After many years of living and working in London, United Kingdom, we decided to return home (Ghana) to settle for good; and to manage our own Guesthouse. We took this decision based on our extensive research, which identified the need for a modern guesthouse that provides privacy and great comfort for travellers.

We’ve made it our mission to offer a truly Ghanaian friendly experience in a quiet, elegant, comfortable, secure and relaxing environment.

The guesthouse takes its name from the Premier Asante Warrior, Nana Yaa Asantewaa (October 17, 1840 – October 17, 1921); Queen Mother of Ejisu in the Ashanti Kingdom. She became the Gatekeeper of the Golden Stool (the dynamic symbol and embodiment of the soul and unity of the Asante Kingdom) and risked her life to protect it.
