The blood of the forefathers cry in vain,
unborn generations watch from afar in pain,
how the children conspire and stab their mother in turns,
forgetting who will take care of them when they return.
The inherited riches are bartered for peanuts,
royals turn slaves in poverty gears loosening knots,
the favorite game is loot and share,
like church mouse no paper to spare.
Mumpsimus paint the veges black buying grapes,
quislings embrace enemies to help dig their own graves,
hands at back survive on cruel gestures,
the new life is greener pastures.
Bright stars appear and shine at night,
black star is dissolved in darkness and lost in light,
limping toes and stretched hands struggle to grab a rope,
we cannot point to our hope.
