Something feels different about October, doesn't it? The nights draw in fast, the temperature properly drops, and somehow - even though Halloween hasn't even happened yet -we all start thinking about Christmas. 🎄

We did some digging, and it turns out 73% of our customers have a chest freezer and are already stocking up for the festive season. So this year, we thought... why should the supermarkets have all the advent calendar fun?

🚨 Introducing the first ever Voakes Free From Advent Calendar. 🎁

24 days of our daily treats, ready to defrost whenever you fancy one (or every day as intended). December deserves unwrapping a gluten-free treat every day. It's a much better daily ritual than another chocolate shaped like a snowman.

📏 100cm x 50cm x 10cm | Approx. 12kg

It's not quite live in the online shop yet - but watch this space, because we'll let you know the second they're available.

In the meantime, don't forget to order before Monday at 8pm for delivery next week.

Have a great weekend - everyone, and wrap up - we think it's going to get very wet n windy this weekend 🍂

Well, well, well… October is here. 🍂

The clocks are about to go back, the temperatures are dropping, and frost on the ground is only a matter of time. Oh - and it's Halloween season too. 🎃

Sure, the supermarkets are already stocking Advent calendars (we're not ready either), but we've got a different reason October's one of our favourite months…

Of course, we reckon every month is pie season, if we're honest. But something about October just hits different. Maybe it's the cold snap. Maybe it's the nights drawing in. Either way - this is peak pie weather, and we're fully here for it.

Fancy warming up with one? Shop the full range now 👉 https://www.voakesfreefrom.co.uk/shop/

Have a great start to the month, everyone 🍂💪🎃

Right, who else looked at the calendar today and panicked slightly? 😅

Halloween is just weeks away, the clocks go back before we know it, and somehow it's already proper 'put the big coat on' weather.

Autumn deserves better than sad, soggy lunches and don't get us started on the non-existent gluten-free meal deals in the supermarkets.

Autumn deserves a Steak and Ale pie - rich, hearty, gravy-soaked perfection, wrapped in golden pastry, and (obviously) completely gluten free, made by coeliacs for coeliacs. 🥧🍂

Honestly, look at that filling. That's the kind of pie that makes you actually look forward to the nights drawing in 🌠

WANT IT THIS WEEK? >>>>> Order by 8pm TONIGHT because the best cure for 'why is it dark at 6pm already' is a proper pie waiting for you.

Sit down for this one… it's EXACTLY 3 months until Christmas Day. 🎄😱

We know, we know.

But before you spiral - here's the bit that actually matters > this is the best possible time to get your festive order sorted, while there's zero mayhem to deal with.

Let's be honest about what December actually looks like - couriers stuck in traffic, deliveries delayed by snow, rain, volume of traffic... And even worse, that horrible moment you realise you forgot to order by the early deadline and you're facing down another baked potato on the big day. Not on our watch 👌

Almost all of our products (everything except our scotch eggs) can be frozen for up to 5 months and enjoyed safely whenever you're ready for them. Order now, pop it all in the freezer, and your festive season is already sorted - no last-minute panic required.

Paying is easy too - As well as all major credit and debit cards, we accept Google Pay and Apple Pay for a super quick checkout, or if you're going BIG on your festive order, we accept Klarna so you can spread the cost, no problem at all. 💜

⏰ Reminder to order before Monday at 8pm to ensure your delivery will be with you next week.

Beat the mayhem 💪

And sorry if our Christmas reality check has semi-ruined your weekend! 🧑‍🎄

It's the great British pork pie debate, and we need you to settle it once and for all.

Jelly. Yes, or no? 👀

Some of you can't imagine a pork pie without it - that layer wobble of savoury jelly is half the appeal. Others? Absolutely not, thank you, keep it away from the meat.

It does play a vital role in keeping the meat fresh, and moist - but we know if you hate it, you hate it regardless!

Wherever you land, we hope you find ours delicious - and of course at Voakes Free From - you devour all of the flavour, and none of the gluten. 💜

So go on and let us know (we're nervous for the debate)

Team YES or team NO?
