Hello everyone,

Just a quick update on our opening hours for the rest of the week.

Tomorrow, we will be open from 12pm to 2pm, before taking a short break between 2pm and 4pm while the heat is at its worst. We will then reopen from 4pm to 9pm as usual.

On Saturday, it’s my birthday! 🎉 To give me a chance to go and celebrate, we’ll be closing 15–30 minutes earlier than usual. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Once again, our waste oil has been stolen.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time this has happened. In the past, we’ve had to take measures such as storing our waste oil inside the shop overnight to prevent theft.

Monday we left the oil out specifically for our registered waste collection company to collect, only for someone to help themselves to it before they arrived.

What many people don’t realise is that waste cooking oil must be collected by a licensed waste carrier and disposed of or recycled correctly. These thieves are not collecting it responsibly they’re simply stealing it to make a quick buck, leaving businesses like ours to deal with the consequences.
