Part of my supporting local makers these guys are based in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and produce the yummiest of syrups that I will be offering to spruce up your hot or cold drinks 🥰

After multiple wishes and praying to the gods for some dry weather to finish painting, we got 30 degree heat 🥵

Lots of cooler late night painting and sweaty mornings to finish this off 😅 but finally the painting is complete 🙌🏻

I wanted to give her a name… Trev just didn’t seem appropriate 🤣 upon numerous searches for inspiration I found out that Welsh for ladybird is ‘buwch goch gota’… literal translation - little red cow! 🐞❤️

Recap of my 4 days without the trailer, time for other things 💛

I have an abundance of wild garlic in my garden, a few weeks ago I made a batch of wild garlic butter, this week pesto and pickles. Nice!

My first year trying sticky w**d juice, again I get lots of this in my garden, found out it is pretty awesome for you, it now gets pulled up and cold brewed overnight.

Lastly, time for slobbing out and watching a bit of tv… ‘speaks French’ doesn’t really cover it, but I suppose I got the gist 🥴

Who’s idea was iit to buy a vintage trailer 🥴🙈

After staring at a wonky wheel for week, not wanting to know the reason behind it I finally investigated 🧐

Looks like the axel was hanging on by a thread… a rusty thread at that!

After around 20 phone calls and 5 people telling me you can’t fix old trailers i did go into a slight panic mode 😭

…thankfully this isn’t the end (not to sound dramatic 😅) I found a willing repair man who towed it away this morning!

Watch this space and fingers crossed it’ll be road worthy soon 🤞🏻

Roof light in ~ Rain out! 😅.
From CAD model to weatherproofing the trailer, it’s taken a few weeks, mostly because the paint I used reacted to the sealant 😫 … it happens 😅 a bit of turps and off we go again!
Nice to get the tarp off the roof!

Wonky coffee, love the idea of this! I think it would make a great coffee offering…let’s try it out!

This is me, Vic, Vicki or Victoria, I don’t mind 🥰 .
I’m particularly camera shy and generally pull an unfortunate face once I know a camera is on me 🥴 my husband managed to snap this one while I was distracted 🙌🏻.
I have been a graphic designer for about 16 years with the last 3/4 years focusing on illustration and sustainable art.
I have always wanted to bring together my love for art and nature within a cafe experience and when I saw someone selling my teeny trailer locally I saw the opportunity and jumped at it.
I’ll be sharing the journey of renovating it and my plans to introduce foraged items to the menu along with events I’ll be attending…. Come along for the journey 😊.
