The day couldn’t have been any brighter until Lou came in to collect her correct score prize. We’ve missed Lou since her job took her to Carterton and it was nice to see she’s still her crazy, fun self!

To ease the pain of losing coconut mushrooms, we are now stocking sweet to***co and have some little 20p coconut choccie bars. Also new in are Bean Boozled and Peel Eggs and we have a small amount of root beer. Cherry bonbons join our bonbon range and liquorice torpedoes join our specialised liquorice section. Thank you, to those of you that braved the heat and the roadworks, to come through the little blue door today, in search of some cool refreshments. We are so thankful for the busy day that helps to contribute to leaving our air con on overnight. Our little unit is doing a cracking job at the moment.
Our deliveries were nice and early and we think we have enough ice cream mix and sweets for a busy week ahead!
Please let’s do it all again tomorrow!

Must confess to being slightly disappointed that we didn’t have to think up a way of doing a silly winners draw. The reason being that only Lou Jarrett-Kane corrected the 0-0 score correctly. Everyone else was far too optimistic. Well done Lou, your prize awaits.
Watch out as we will be doing this all again on Saturday!

What a beautiful sunny day. Our whippys especially, were flying out.
We were asked a couple of times if we would be closing at all over the next couple of days.
What? No way! We love the summer and our little shop is bearing up well. Lots of ‘ooh it’s nice and cool in here’ comments. We have a small air con unit and very thick walls.
The garden also has some shady spots.
If you need to cool down, come and pay us a visit.
