We meet at a different restaurant each month, rating each experience for Flavour, Service, Atmosphere and Value for Money. We ask the restaurant to choose the menu in advance, giving them the opportunity to serve their best.

2017 Windsor Curry Club Winner
For the second year running Windsor Curry Clubs winning curry restaurant of 2017 and a worthy winner is Mango Lounge. An evening at Mango Lounge always comes with high expectations and they were easily surpassed. Service was very professional, friendly and attentive, whilst the atmosphere of the restaurant was upbeat and buzzing. The food was fantastic with a great selection of tasty starters including Mango Lounge's signature Tiger Prawn Martini and a fine selection and variety of main dishes and sundries and breads. With a score of 4.5 out of 5, this was a curry to remember and Windsor Curry Club highly recommends Mango Lounge for an exceptional curry.

Windsor Curry Club is a group of food loving friends that meet once a month to enjoy a curry in a different restaurant around Windsor, Eton & Datchet. We book in advance and ask the restaurant to choose the menu, giving them the opportunity to serve their best. We score each meal on flavour, service, value for money and atmosphere and have been undertaking this arduous task for over 7 years!"

The Windsor Curry Club convened at Mango Lounge Windsor on the 29th for our July outing. Our numbers were down due to the holiday season but a good night was had by all.

We have been to the Mango lounge a number of times over the years and they have always attained high marks for flavour and service but they have been in the higher bracket when it came cost.

We spoke to Rajeev who was very helpful and arranged for the chef to put on an impressive selection of starters and mains:

Tiger prawn martini
Chilli Scallop
Chicken tikka pickling
Battered fried monkfish
Assorted papad

Monkfish curry
Lal mass
Chettinad chicken
Spanish and goat cheese kofta
Saag paneer side dish
Stir fried pak choy
Laccha paratha
Butter naan
Green peas and onion rice
Pulav rice

Food was very good, as was the service and we were all surprised at the cost which was comparable with our average spend. Overall a great night and highly recommended.
