The Windlesham Cakery Book Club
Do you love reading & chatting about books as much as I do? The red phone box book library in the village would suggest that we’ve got a village of readers!
So let’s start a monthly book club, somewhere to discuss different styles of books, meet new people in the village, build connections & get together in a cosy environment.

This month might be short notice but let’s go for it!

Thursday 25th June @ 1900h
In The Windlesham Cakery cafe, 14 Updown Hill
Tickets £5 which include nibbles
Sourdough toasties and lots of sweet treats available to purchase on the evening.

Our first book is The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. I’ve seen this everywhere with rave reviews and can’t wait to read it.

Book your tickets by popping into the cafe from Thursday onwards or scan the QR code to join the WhatsApp book group.

It’s finally happening! I’m opening on Thursday 11th June @ 0830h. We’re taking things slow to make sure we get it right, this means the menu will be building up slowly.
There will be all the cakes on the counter, sourdough toasties and salad and the best coffee from
I want this to be more than a cafe, it’s somewhere to meet for great food and drink, somewhere to host parties and events, somewhere to get your celebration cakes and somewhere to come together for evening events and workshops (keep your eyes peeled for more!!)
Come in for coffee, a brownie / cookie / cake or a toastie from Thursday. Can’t wait to see you.

A bottom tier of chocolate sponge and top tier of coffee & walnut, all decorated in yellow vanilla buttercream and spring flowers for a 40th birthday.

Three layers of red velvet sponge filled with vanilla buttercream & decorated with naked buttercream and loaded with fresh fruit.

A Bluey themed cake for wonderful Evan. Bottom tier of Victoria sponge with raspberry jam & vanilla buttercream and a top tier of lemon drizzle with lemon buttercream. All brought together with Bluey decorations.

A great alternative to a birthday cake if you’re a brownie fan. A double stack of Oreo brownies and chocolate orange brownies, with a 40th birthday topper.
