All set up for my workshop at a local Sixth Form college where I keep bees. A wonderful idea for staff wellbeing on the last day. Two full, back to back sessions, making a solid moisturising balm and a lip balm. Also a talk about bees and the products they produce. Lots of mixing and pouring, hopefully the products set quickly on this hot day!

The scent from the Lime (Linden) trees this evening, as I walk down to our main apiary site in Hatch End is amazing. To stop and take in the beautiful citrusy scent, is mind blowing. It’s no wonder the bees go crazy for lime flowers, it’s absolutely buzzing with bees. Both nectar and pollen from this lovely, delicate flower. It’s such a shame it only flowers for such a short time, only about 2-3 weeks.
