Book Club Sunday with my lovely group of ladies 🩵 📚

We chatted all about The White Octopus Hotel by Alex Bell 🐙🏨 and the real highlight… we were joined by Alex herself!
Such a fantastic surprise and truly the icing on the cake ✨

As always, we spent the morning catching up over coffee ☕ and croissants 🥐, sharing our new reads and chatting about everything we’d all been up to over the past month. I honestly love how these mornings are never just about books, but about friendship, laughter and those little life updates 🤍

Early days, but it’s already got a bit of an eerie feel to it. Looking forward to seeing where it goes 🐙

Book Club Sunday with my lovely group of ladies 🤍📚

I always enjoy setting up and sharing the little details of our mornings together on here. We started by chatted about our recent read, we relaxed, drank coffee ☕and ate croissants 🥐

One of my favourite moments is always revealing the next book pick and seeing everyone’s faces as they discover our next read together. This time it’s The White Octopus Hotel by Alexandra Bell 🤍 🐙 - a different genre for me (and for many of us), so I’m really intrigued to see what we’ll all think.

This month was even more special as we were joined by author Kit de Waal for a Q&A about last month’s read, My Name Is Leon. Such a brilliant and insightful experience.
