I have no idea why they have put it on hold and as far as I’m aware I haven’t updated any payment details.🤔

📣 SOMETHING NEW IS COMING TO OLIVER’S… 👀✈️

I’ve spent today speaking to suppliers, packaging companies and equipment suppliers and there’s been a fair bit of designing going on behind the scenes too. 👀

We’re getting ready to add THREE new things to the menu, including TWO completely new meal deals.

And that is ALL I’m telling you. 😂🤐

So… what do you think we’re adding?

Today’s episode: We’ve had the solar panels on a week and one day.

For those invested….

The ongoing electricity saga continues… 🫠⚡️

After my ongoing complaint that has now dragged on for over FIVE YEARS, numerous conversations, £10k debt wiped off, £150 compensation several engineers and even a senior review, we now have… another complaint opened. 🤦‍♀️

And then there’s this. 👀

Our solar panels were installed on 24th August. This screenshot is our monitoring for 25th August the very next day.

Apparently our 5-bedroom home consumed 59.8 kWh of electricity in ONE DAY. 😳

The solar panels produced 18.7 kWh, with the app showing 40.4 kWh still coming from the grid.

Meanwhile, the Octopus account is showing a balance of -£4,043.20 and yet another complaint is being investigated. 🫠

£955 a month Octopus say I am spending on electricity. 🤣😭

Five years later… I would just really like somebody to establish where on earth all this electricity is supposedly going. ⚡️😂

A lovely addition to the walls of Oliver’s Chippy ✈️❤️

This incredible photograph was donated to us by two of our customers a husband and wife who also quietly take it upon themselves to help keep our village tidy. They also have made a donation to our Pay It Forward board previously which was incredibly kind. ❤️

The photograph shows Concorde flying over Tower Bridge in London and, even more special, it’s signed by the captain who was flying Concorde and the photographer who captured the image. ✈️

It fits in perfectly with a little bit of history we’ve collected on our walls photographs of aircraft built at BAE Warton, our model aircraft and old photographs of Warton and BAE.

Being opposite BAE, aviation has always been part of the character and history around us, so this one has definitely found the right home.

Thank you both for the photograph, for supporting our Pay It Forward board and for everything you quietly do around our village. ❤️

I did get some quotes to take this to the tip but he wouldn’t let me spend any more money..
So he’s dismantled it himself and taking it to the tip in the car..😫
