Looking good isn’t enough.

People often tell me how beautiful my cakes are, but my favourite compliment is when they tell me how good they taste.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the creative side of cake design. I could spend hours thinking about colours, textures and all the little details. But if the cake itself wasn’t delicious, none of that would feel complete.

For me, a cake should be every bit as enjoyable to eat as it is to look at.

That’s always been the goal 🩶

First birthdays hit different 🤍


As a cake designer - and a mum - first birthdays hold such a special place in my heart.

I know how many mums lie awake the night before, replaying this exact moment a year ago. Wondering how the year flew by so fast… yet how the days (and sleepless nights) felt so long.

It’s never just a celebration of a baby turning one.
It’s a celebration of a woman who has spent a whole year learning, loving, growing, and giving everything she has to her little human ✨

I know how much these moments matter. That’s why every first birthday cake I create is designed with so much care 🎂

V late to the geode cake party… but I finally made one and loved every second 💎

So much creativity went into this - carving, layering crystals, adding depth with colour, and a little gold for drama.
Definitely one of those cakes that’s messy in the middle stages but totally worth it in the end!

I’ll share some step-by-step pics soon so you can see how it came together ✨
