Busy times at Renegade Urban W**ery 🍇

Truckloads of grapes are coming in from Essex and Hampshire almost daily, meaning it's the busiest time of the year for our local w**emakers. Keep an eye on Renegade's social media to see what grapes are coming in and what you can do to help (or just watch with a glass of w**e in your hands).

They're still ready for Harvestfest this Saturday though! Expect Walthamstow-made w**e, a DJ and LEO serving up crowd-favourites from their snack menu. Put your palate to the test in our Guess the W**e competition for a chance to be entered into the prize raffle.

In need of a little break from b**r during Harvestfest? Burnt Faith is here for you with brandy and cocktails 🥃

Worth the detour: stray from the route, pass Blackhorse Workshop on Sutherland Path, turn right at Local Honey Man and find the Mile's only distillery next to the Community Sauna Baths.

The weather is good, so come enjoy drinks in the yard, with the outdoor bar serving cucumber elderflower spritzes.

In for a big treat? Black Cactus is business as usual, serving up their autumn barbecue tray up in the Brandy House 🔥 Definitely book a table in advance if you're hungry!

It's a gorgeous day for a block party 🌤️ Lockwood Way is getting together from noon for a full day of fun at 40ft, East London Brewing Company and Renegade Urban W**ery.

Expect lots of b**r and w**e (obviously), delicious food, ice cream, music, kids entertainment, bouncy castles, circus acts(!) and by the looks of it, plenty of sunshine.

A Friday with guilty pleasures: it's Noughties Night at Pretty Decent B**r Co 💿

A night of Y2K fun at the Tappy: "We've dug out the iPod Classic and it's full of nostalgic bangers from the 90s and 00s and we'll be blasting them all night long baby!"

To make those guilty pleasures even guiltier, the slushy machine is back churning out Frozéritas: a frozen marg and rosé slushie swirl.

40FT Brewery and Acme Taco Wagyu Birria Thursdays 🔥

No, it's not the £4 pints that get you into a messy situation* on Thursdays, Acme Taco's Thursday exclusive requires a big stack of napkins. Delicious Wagyu Birria tacos: ' chuck and neck, marinated in a fiery paste of Mexican chillies, tomato, onion and spices, then slowly braised in rich beef stock until it gives up completely.'

Limited portions - once they're gone, they're gone. Don't want to miss out? Get down to Lockwood Way from 5pm 🌮

In case you missed it: the Affordable Record Fair is back at Borough W**es this Saturday 🍷

Come dig the crates until 5, listen to a range of DJs on the decks until 9 - of course all with a glass of w**e in your hands. Entry is £2 per person, with all proceeds going to Love Wins - a charity raising money for a solar power installation in central Kenya. Dig and drink for a good cause!

Harvest is in full swing on the Blackhorse B**r Mile! Before we celebrate Harvestfest, there's a lot of work to be done:

The breweries and w**eries have been busy with their hops, grapes and apples. With Renegade Urban W**ery picking up their grapes locally and Sustainable W**e Solutions heading to France, Exale Taproom E17 getting their fresh hops by postman, Pretty Decent B**r Co flying out to the Yakima Valley, and East London Brewing Company getting the help of locals for their Walthamstow B**r Project.

Roast is calling, and it's calling loudly 🔥

Black Cactus BBQ have been smoking, grilling and prepping all weekend so you can have a delicious Sunday Roast barbecue tray.
