It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that the Pavilion Cafe has a new owner.
As I reflect on the past 12 years, it has been a rollercoaster of a ride!
We opened our doors in February 2013 after renovating a building that had been empty for 3 years. The park was very quiet so it took sometime to build the business up.
We then built and opened Mellows Pavilion Cafe in 2015 and juggled between the two cafes, it was a big challenge running both so we decided to sell Mellows in 2018. At that time Beddington Park was awarded the Heritage Lottery Funding and the park received a lovely facelift with great improvements to the swing area and the park itself. In 2020 Covid hit, that was probably the most scariest time, not knowing if we would ever open our doors again, but we did, and we have thrived since.
I would like to thank each and every staff member that has worked for the Pavilion Cafe, you have all played such an important part in creating such a wonderful community hub in such a beautiful park.
My amazing team will continue with the new owner, so please please support them, they will need your friendly faces and support as they transition over.
I would like to also thank each and every customer that has walked through the door for your support and custom. All of my lovely regulars that have become close friends. I will miss our lovely chats, lovely smiles and cannot thank you enough❤️
I cannot write anymore as I am sobbing my heart out 🥲❤️ I now feel ready to put my family first and start a new chapter and try to relax a bit more!
