“It's so nice to have a decent café in a little place like Wallington. It’s walking distance from my home, so when I go out to get my 10k steps, it's good to stop here for a bite to eat. My favourite is Chicken Milanese - which always fills me up.

The café is very popular and always busy. Despite that, service is quick and polite, thanks to my friendly server, Adam!”

Ciao famiglia! 🫶🏽

This weekend sees the finale of a 4-day celebration of the Vespa - perhaps one of the *the* best-known (and loved!) symbols of Italia 🇮🇹- to mark 80 years since it was launched! Thousands of Vespa riders - or𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪 - and enthusiasts are congregating in Rome as we write to celebrate everything about the iconic scooter.

Loved for its speed and agility amongst traffic, the Vespa was a revolution, quickly becoming the mode of choice for delivery drivers - and not just in Italy!

We're not lucky enough to own a Vespa here at Federico, so we can't offer deliveries, sadly(although we will be very soon launching out very own 'Click and Collect' service, so watch this space for news!).

Allora, if you've got a craving for a doorstop Italian sandwich,🥪 a bowl of creamy pasta carbonara, or maybe even a spritz or two...then you know what you need to do, don't you?!

Oh bambino it's hot outside...so, so hot.

But! The good news is that here at Caffe Federico, we've got it down to a much more ambient temperature due to our air con, grazie a Dio!

So, if you do see our doors closed during the day, please don't think we're closed - we're not - (unless it's Monday when we're not here!) We're just trying to keep the heat out as much as possible.

Pop in to see us for your iced latte, cold juice, gelato, or of course, a chilled Italian beer or Spritz...and keep your cool when all around are losing theirs! 🍹🧋🍺🍧🍨🍦

Buonasera famiglia!

You know, it's never too early to be thinking about lunch, and if you're anything like us and already planning what you're going to be having tomorrow, you're in good company.

After all, pretty much every Neapolitan is a self-confessed 'foodie' - it's in our blood! - and for those times when you want something a little more indulgent than a sandwich, 🥪 we've got just the thing!

Our Carbonara, for example - yes, made the proper Italian way (𝘴𝘦 𝘭𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘪, 𝘭𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘪) contains just a few simple components, but tastes like a sophisticated party in your mouth. Still, if you do like to break with tradition, and have yours prepared with cream, we can do that too.

Don't get your spaghetti in a twist, purists... people like what they like...and we like to make our customers happy. 🥰
