👀 OCTOBER HOLIDAY CLUBS - 2026 👀

We are delighted to announce our October Holiday Club Provision for 2026 at MARTHAM ACADEMY SCHOOL & our *NEW VENUE* at STALHAM ACADEMY for those children in Reception to Year 6.

MARTHAM ACADEMY & STALHAM ACADEMY INFORMATION -
Martham Academy School - Monday 19th October - Friday 30th October

Daily we will have Sports, Arts & Crafts, General Play and Movies.
Advertised weekly we have activities that will include *Pumpkin Carving*, *Cooking*, *Music days*, *Glow Dodgeball and *Darts*.

Please read the information below and all the details on our flyer!!

👀 COST - £15 per day per child OR for those families that receive means tested free school meals or pupil premium, the cost will only be £7.50 per child per day.

👀 MULTIPLE DAY DISCOUNTS 👀
* Book 3 or 4 days per child - £14 per day
* Book all 5 or 6 days per child - £13.00 per day
* Book 7 or more days per child - £12.50 per day
* Siblings discount available (please ask)

👀 EXTRA TIME @ MARTHAM ACADEMY & STALHAM ACADEMY - 3:00 - 4:00 👀
We are delighted to continue the extra time option. If you require longer childcare you are now able to book between 3:00 - 4:00 for an extra £3 per child. This must be booked in advance due to staffing (Minimum numbers required)

A packed lunch and plenty of drink will be required at both venues.

To secure your booking ALL SESSIONS must be paid for 48 hours in advance. This is due to parents not informing us of non attendance or late cancellations and the rise in costs of staffing and running the clubs.

DUE TO STAFFING NUMBERS THERE ARE LIMITED SPACES EACH DAY FOR THIS HOLIDAY SO PLEASE GET IN TOUCH ASAP TO BOOK!!

FUNDING ELIGIBILITY - PLEASE READ

We would like to make you aware of upcoming, Nationwide changes to Free School Meal (FSM) eligibility that may have a significant impact on future BNHF delivery periods..

From September 2026, there will be three categories of Free School Meals:

1 - Targeted Free School Meals:
For children receiving benefits-related Free School Meals where annual household income is below £7,400.
These children WILL remain eligible for funded places through the BNHF programme.

2 - Expanded Free School Meals:
For families receiving Universal Credit with an annual household income above £7,400.
These children will receive free school meals but WILL NOT be eligible for funded BNHF places.

3 - Universal Free School Meals:
Available to all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
Receipt of Universal Free School Meals alone DOES NOT qualify a child for a funded BNHF place, although some children may also meet the criteria for Targeted or Expanded Free School Meals.

In addition, the protected status currently applied to benefits-related Free School Meals will end in September 2026. This means that some children who have previously been eligible for funded holiday programme places, including those attending this summer, may no longer meet the eligibility criteria for future programmes if their family circumstances have changed.

As a result, the county council anticipate that the number of eligible children across the county may reduce. This is particularly important because the Local Authority's annual funding allocation from the Department for Education (DfE) is based on the number of children eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals. A reduction in eligible children is therefore likely to result in a decrease in available funding for future financial years and could impact the scale and reach of future holiday programme delivery.

We have been asked to encourage families to apply for benefits-related Free School Meals where appropriate, even if their child is already receiving Universal Free School Meals. Ensuring eligible families are registered not only helps them access available support but also helps secure future funding for the programme as a whole.

Every day the children have had lots of fun, whilst making new friends, at the arts and crafts tables, the free play option, joining in with karaoke and watching the lunchtime movies whilst also playing sports and other activities that have included: archery, basketball, cricket, darts, dodgeball, football, glow dodgeball, gymnastics, handball, hockey, kurling, nerf, parkour, rounders and table tennis.

Once a week we have provided water afternoons, ran music days and we have held cooking activities, baking items such as: brownies, cookies, flapjacks and pizzas.

Three days during the holidays we have held our first summer of Colour Runs which have proved to be very popular.

Gary would like to say a MASSIVE ‘THANK YOU’ to his team of workers and most importantly WE would all like to thank every single child that have attended our clubs and to all the parents/guardians that have supported us this summer. Your support has been incredible and we hope the children have enjoyed our clubs as much as we have.

We will be returning with our holiday clubs during October half term, with a brand new venue to be announced, and Friday Football during September and October.

Please keep an eye out on our page!!

Finally any reviews will be greatly appreciated and will go towards helping us secure any funding available in 2027.
