And during Coeliac Awareness Week and month, it’s such an important conversation to have.

For those living with coeliac disease, avoiding gluten isn’t simply a lifestyle choice or preference - it’s essential. Which means cross contamination matters just as much as the ingredients themselves.

Many businesses may offer “gluten free options” while still preparing food in kitchens where gluten is present every day. Shared surfaces, utensils, ovens and preparation areas can all increase the risk of cross contamination.

At Voakes Free From, this is something we take incredibly seriously.

Our founder Laura is coeliac herself, so she understands first hand the importance of trust, safety and complete peace of mind when it comes to food 💛
