Community Update 🙌

We’ve changed the name of this group to reflect what it has become. (Processed✔️)

This is now a support and justice group for the former landlord, management team and staff of The Cross Keys Dunnington — people who lost their livelihoods weeks before Christmas with little warning or explanation.

The village didn’t just lose a pub that day.
It lost:
• a meeting place
• a safe space
• a social hub
• a heartbeat

This pub was not revived for profit — it was revived for people.

The refurbishment wasn’t done for show — it was done with love.
The events weren’t run for ego — they were run for the village.
The doors weren’t open just for business — they were open for belonging.

From christenings to wakes, live music to Sunday dinners, solitary regulars to families — the Cross Keys became home again.

And when it shut…
A whole community felt it.

This group exists because when you remove the heart of a village, people feel it deeply.

If you’re here:

We will stand for our village.
