🧔 Happy World Beard Day!

In honour of World Beard Day being on Saturday 5th September, we couldn’t let the occasion pass without celebrating one of Wynsdale’s most recognisable features…

Pete’s beard! 😂

And perhaps it’s no coincidence that Pete has such an impressive beard. With half his family hailing from Norway, we’re putting it down to those Viking genes! 🪓🇳🇴😂

It’s been through house clearances, waste collections, meetings, early mornings and probably more cups of tea than we’d care to count.

So today, we give it the recognition it deserves. 🏆

Three Dogs. One Beginning. Three very special stories. 🐶

Donnie, Little Lady and Sylvester all came from the same home and, sadly, shared the same difficult start in life.

When it came time for them to be rescued, Wynsdale employees stepped in. Donnie went to one home, while Sylvester and Little Lady went to another.

From that point on, their stories began to take different paths.

They may have started life together, but what came next was filled with the things every dog deserves: safety, love, patience and the chance to simply be a dog.

Donnie has come such a long way. He has found his person, his home and a life where he is surrounded by love.

Little Lady has also found her happy ending bringing all the joy, companionship and unconditional love that only a dog can bring.

Sylvester joined Little Lady, he was loved, cared for, and given the opportunity to experience an amazing life. Sadly, he has passed since his rescuing. But we didn’t want any part of his story to be forgotten. Although his time was shorter than we would have wished, the happiness and love he bought his family’s life will always be part of his story. 🐶💚

Their stories are a reminder that rescue isn’t just about changing where a dog lives. It is about giving them the chance to discover what life can be when they are loved.

For Donnie, Little Lady and Sylvester, that second chapter looked very different than their beginning, but it was filled with unequivocal love.

Perhaps that is one of the most beautiful endings we could have hoped for, for them. 💚

🐾 NATIONAL DOG DAY 🐾

There is one thing we can say with absolute certainty here at Wynsdale...

We LOVE dogs!🐶💚

Our team are proud dog lovers, with plenty of four-legged family members of their own. From muddy walks to being greeted by wagging tails at the end of the day, our dogs are a very important part of our lives.

But our connection with dogs goes a little further than that.

Over the years, we have rescued and helped rehome a number of dogs we've encountered during house clearances. 🏠🐾

When a property is being cleared, we never forget that there can be more than just belongings left behind. Sometimes there are animals who need care, attention and, most importantly, a safe and loving home.

Some of those dogs have found their way into new families, including our own, and we're incredibly grateful to have been able to give them a second chance. Swipe through to see just a handful of our rescue stories.❤️
