We've upgraded our calamari and are now producing home-breaded strips to order...The whitebait and chicken are getting the same love too! So we've just taken delivery of our local Native oysters alongside our usual Rock oysters... Can you tell which is which? Thanks Richard Haward's Oysters for getting them to us.

We might not be open Mondays right now (watch this space!), but doesn’t mean we aren’t busy working away on getting The Rosebud Pub ready for the colder months. The fireplace will soon be roaring thanks to E Wright Woodburner Installer & Chimney Sweep - another local supplier we like to work with. Thanks Ed!

Sorry, but due to demand (must be the weather!) we've had to close our bookings for today's Sunday Lunch service. We might just be able to facilitate some walk-ins...but for those who have booked, we've put on some special home-made Cheesecakes. Baileys & Dark Chocolate as well as a family-friendly Strawberry Cheesecake.

Just had the weekend's meat delivery in from our local butchers, Butchers Brightlingsea. We are open Saturday 12-9pm and Sunday from 12-4:30pm for food. The bar is open 12-10pm Sat and 12-7pm Sun.
