As you may have heard Penny and I are leaving the Old Library. We have had a great time and met some wonderful people while realising our dream of having our own business.
We would like to thank all of our guests and friends who we have had the pleasure of serving over the past 7 seasons and not forgetting our amazing and wonderful team who are more like family to us, we couldn't have done it without you.
A massive thank you to our local tradesmen Colin King, Henry & Jaimie Young, Duncan MacDonald, Chris Smail, and John Mackay.
Thanks also to our suppliers Iain Stewart Fishmonger, Lochaber Larder & J.M. Breckenridge.
Thanks to Nick & Lindsay Murray we couldn't have wished for better landlords.
Our last day is this Friday 31st October until then we are open for lunch, dinner and take aways as usual ( bookings required for dinner ).
So finally thank you for your custom and support.

Thankfully Arisaigs power came back on again last night and has stayed on so we are open as normal for lunches dinners and take aways.
Lovely Cullen Skink is just what is needed on a dreich day like this!!!!

Woohoooo our power has come back on!!! Huge respect to all the SSE Engineers who got us back on.
Remember we are open as normal for lunches 12 till 2pm and dinners 6pm till 8pm and not forgetting takeaways!!!

October has come in with dreich weather and storms for this weekend. Remember the Old Library is open for lunches dinner and take aways 7 DAYS A WEEK so come in out if the rain and get a hearty homemade meal.

Due to the horrendous wind which is forecast to get worse ( Gusting Storm Force 11 ) We have decided to close this lunchtime on safety grounds.
We will be open this evening for dinner and take aways as usual when the wind is forecast to ease.
