Sarclet scones is just as you enter the wee Hamlet of Sarclet in Caithness ,
The old schoolhouse is just around the corner from where Elaines Granny lived many years ago in Corbigoe , Granny's house is still standing but is a ruin now. Elaine learned to bake from her Mum who was brought up in Corbigoe then moved into Wick where she ran a very succesfull and popular Bed and Breakfast business, so all the cooking and baking secrets from the old days were passed down through the generations to Elaine so what started out over 70 years ago has now returned to the area .
