☀️ Heatwave update!

The forecast is looking very warm for the rest of the week, so I’m changing things up a little.

I’ll be in from 8.30am, with the coffee machine ready from around 8.45am if you fancy an early coffee.

I’ll be using the cooler part of the morning to get all the baking done before the kitchen gets too hot, so the full café menu will be available from our usual opening time of 10am.

If you’re an early bird, pop in and say hello! 🧡

There’s something really special about being asked to make a cake for a milestone like this.

A simple vanilla sponge, fresh raspberries, lots of lemon and pistachio buttercream, and handwritten chocolate piping done carefully this morning before service started ☕️

Happy 90th Birthday Linda 🎂✨

We’re in the FINAL 🥹✨

8 years of early mornings, busy weekends, trays in and out of the oven… and somehow, here we are again.

Finalists in the Muddy Stilettos Awards 2026 💛

This is our 5th time in the finals… and I think our 6th nomination over the years — which honestly means the world.( haven’t won yet)

Because this isn’t just about us…It’s about every single one of you who walks through the door, grabs a coffee, buys a cake, brings friends, and takes the time to vote.

We’ve gone from strength to strength over the years, and that’s entirely down to the incredible community around this little café.

So… thank you. Truly 💛
