What a lovely Bank Holiday Monday at Fresh East! 💙☕️

And somehow… PLAN B survived another day! 😂🙌

Thank you SO much to everyone who came to see us today — familiar faces, new faces, holidaymakers, locals, four-legged customers 🐾 and everyone who’s been cheering us on through our slightly chaotic couple of weeks.

We’re still finding our feet with the temporary trailer and its rather temperamental water system 💦, so a big SORRY to those of you we couldn’t get a coffee to quickly enough — or at all — when we simply couldn’t get the water pumping through fast enough.

Neil absolutely HATES having to turn anyone away 😭, but we’re learning a little more every day, tweaking things as we go and WE ARE GETTING THERE! 💪☕️

And hopefully this week we’ll have an update on our beloved Dory and when she might be coming home. 🤞💙🚙

Meanwhile, there was the VERY important matter of today’s Great Escape riddle… 😂🧠

A coffee and a cake cost £6.
The coffee costs £4 more than the cake.
How much does the cake cost?

Quite a few of you confidently said £2… 👀😂

🥁 THE ANSWER IS £1!

Cake £1 + coffee £5 = £6 — and the coffee is £4 more than the cake.

And because apparently serving coffee isn’t enough to keep Neil occupied…
