🚨🚨Exciting progress update🚨🚨

We thought it was time to share a few more photos so you can see how things are coming along at The Plough.

As you can see, there’s still plenty to do, but we’re steadily ticking off the jobs and it’s lovely to finally see some real progress. We’re very excited that we’ve finally broken ground and bricks are now being laid – something we’ve been looking forward to seeing! 😁🧱

While we still can’t confirm an opening date just yet, we’re getting closer all the time. There are still a few moving parts to work through, but we’re hoping to have more news on that front very soon. 🗓️

We’re delighted to share a first look at what we've been creating!!

The application is now live for our General Manager / Chef GM role.

We are open-minded about background and experience because we know great operators come from different sides of hospitality:

• A strong Pub or General Manager
• A Head Chef with leadership experience and a passion for front of house
• A Bar Manager who loves food and understands kitchen operations
• A hospitality couple looking for a long-term opportunity together

The Italiano, A beautiful rainbow of flavour!

This beautiful sandwich is filled with Mortadello, Salami, Rocket, Balsamic Glaze, Mozzarella, Tomatoes and Red Pesto!

The loo with a view…..

This wall has had to come out as we’re extending the toilets slightly. This will make room for a 2nd ladies toilet (ones never enough) and an accessible toilet in both the gents and ladies.

Finally, we’re live on Facebook…. It took us long enough!!!

After 18 months of hard work behind the scenes navigating planning permission (such fun!), things are now really moving forward at The Plough, Allscott — and we’re chomping at the bit to get those doors open!!

The refurbishment is underway, the building is starting to take shape, and we’re creating what we hope will become a fantastic pub for the whole community to enjoy. We’re especially excited about the garden space we’re building and can’t wait to welcome everyone in when the doors finally open.

This page is where we’ll be sharing updates on the renovation, behind-the-scenes action, opening dates, future events, food and drink plans, and everything else in between!!!
