⚽🎯🏈 THIS WEEKEND AT THE SWAN 🏈🎯⚽

There is an absolutely ridiculous amount of sport on this weekend, and we’ll be doing our best to squeeze the lot onto the screens. 🍻📺

Saturday starts with Millwall v West Ham — one of English football’s fiercest rivalries and, incredibly, their first competitive meeting in over 14 years.

At the same time we’ve got Spurs v Villa, so we’re expecting the usual healthy collection of Villa shirts in The Swan. 👀⚽

Sunday isn’t exactly calming down either…

🍀 Celtic v Rangers — the Old Firm Derby. One of approximately 100 they seem to play every season.

🐺 Wolves v West Brom — the two biggest teams in the West Midlands. 🎣

🔴 Fulham v Man Utd — the big Sunday afternoon kick-off.

🎯 Then the World Series of Darts Final takes us into Sunday evening. What better way to spend it?

And at 6pm…

🏈 CALLING ALL HELMET FANS!
New England Patriots v Pittsburgh Steelers gets the NFL underway for the evening.

And that’s only the highlights.

Football. Darts. NFL. Loads of screens. Cold pints.
All weekend at The Swan. 🍻🦢

🚨⚔️ TONIGHT: THE MIDLANDS GOES TO WAR! ⚔️🚨

Two giants of early-season attacking football collide, with a massive one league goal between them! ⚽️💥

Forget your ordinary Wednesday night… Coventry City take on Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup! 🏆🔥

🎺 SKA vs HEAVY METAL 🤘
🐎 LADY GODIVA vs THE BULLRING BULL 🐂
🔵⚪ COVENTRY vs BIRMINGHAM 🟣🔵
⚽ 0 Premier League goals vs 1 Premier League goal

But forget the league form — this is the cup.

It’s been 25 YEARS since these two last met, so there’s a quarter of a century of local bragging rights, needle and general Midlands hostility ready to explode tonight. 💥

Will the Sky Blues be doing the ska all the way into the next round? 🕴️🎺

Or will Villa turn up the heavy metal, unleash the Prince of Darkness and send Coventry packing? 🦇🤘

Coventry City 🆚 Aston Villa
🏆 Carabao Cup
📅 TONIGHT
⏰ 8PM

There can only be one. 🔥⚔️

COME ON THEN… WHO’S HAVING IT?! 👊

🚨⚽🏆 TONIGHT: THE BIGGEST GAME OF FOOTBALL EVER PLAYED. 🏆⚽🚨

Tonight, Aston Villa take on Paris Saint-Germain for the UEFA SUPER CUP. 🏆🇪🇺

Nights like this are why we love football. ❤️⚽

Two of Europe’s greatest sides. 🌍
One trophy. 🏆
Ninety minutes separating immortality from heartbreak. ⏱️💔

Generations of Villa supporters have dreamed of nights like this. 💜💙 Tonight, history isn't something we read about. Tonight, we make it. 🦁🏆

The atmosphere at The Swan is already building. 🍺🔥 The bunting is going up. 🎉 The cardboard replica of the Super Cup has taken pride of place behind the bar. 🏆

I've got the Yellow Pages open at Open Top Bus Hire 🚌🏆 and I'm already making enquiries for tomorrow.

Frankly, it's difficult to concentrate on running a pub at a time like this. 😰🍺
