We honestly couldn’t be prouder to share some incredible news…
The Windmill Werrington has been selected for inclusion in the CAMRA Good B**r Guide 2027! 🍻📖
With thousands of pubs across the country, being selected for the Good B**r Guide is a huge recognition of the care, consistency and passion that goes into serving great cask ale and it’s an achievement we’re incredibly proud of.
A massive THANK YOU to Zoe and the whole team for the incredible work you put into looking after our b**r every single day. From the cellar to the bar, it takes care, knowledge and pride to keep cask b**r in the condition it deserves to be served in. ❤️🍺
But we also want to say a massive thank you to YOU our wonderful cask drinkers. This recognition is ultimately down to the support of the people who come through our doors and enjoy our b**rs week after week.
And we know that many of those people are our loyal basspalealeofficial drinkers. 🍺❤️
Bass has been part of The Windmill for decades, and seeing so many of you continue to support it, alongside the other great cask b**rs we serve, means an awful lot to us.
We were also incredibly proud to receive this message from Staffordshire Moorlands Camra:
“To my knowledge no other Greene King owned pub in this area has ever featured in the GBG since CAMRA’s GBG was founded in 1974. Well done you.”
That makes this achievement feel even more special!
