A little reminder of what shopping small really means… 🌼
Big brands won’t notice if you don’t visit them today.
But I will. ❤️
Behind Daisies there isn’t a huge team, a head office or a production line.
There’s just me.
I bake the cakes. 🍰
I make the lunches. 🥪
I make your coffees. ☕️
I order the stock, clean the café, plan the events, answer the messages and occasionally wonder why on earth I decided owning a café was a sensible idea. 😂
And every single time somebody chooses Daisies, it matters.
It’s very easy to automatically head for the names we all know, but there are little independent businesses everywhere making, baking, creating and serving things with an enormous amount of love behind them.
So this isn’t a post saying don’t support the big brands.
It’s simply a reminder to remember the little ones too. ❤️
Because your £4 coffee might be a tiny transaction to a huge company…
But to a small business, it’s another customer choosing us. Another reason to keep going. Another little vote of confidence in what I’ve created. 🌼
Support small. Support local.
Not just Daisies.
Your local baker, butcher, florist, farm shop, café, pub, maker, salon… all of them.
Because when you support a small business, someone really does notice.
And I promise you, we’re so grateful. 🥹❤️🌼
