How lovely to see one of my favourite wedding cakes of the year photographed by the very talented Laura Rosemary Photography at Jasmine and Jamie's wedding, and set off so nicely against that beautifully colour wall. They held it at the ridiculously stunning Pynes House | Luxury Wedding Venue Devon (i had serious wedding envy when I drove up their drive!) back in June. Jasmine was one of the most relaxed brides I've ever worked with and it wasn't until shortly before the wedding that we actually discussed decoration. So I suggest a pressed edible flower cascade as its the perfect mix of rustic charm and formal elegance. Perfect for their venue and vibe.

Over the next few weeks we will be showcasing some of our traders.

Today we are showcasing Angelchops Cakes, who have been with us nearly two years.

"At Angelchops and we are crazy about cake! We are bonkers about baking, mesmerized by mixing, we idolise icing and are infatuated with frosting! In other words we are passionate about making delicious cakes and bakes for the people of East Devon to enjoy.
All of our bakes are made by Laura, just over the hill in Sidmouth and we love making Seaton just that little bit more scrumptious once a month at the Seaton Indie Market - we've been attending since November 2024.
Laura started Angelchops Cakes in London in 2014 and then relocated to Sidmouth in 2016 and has been supplying the people of Sidmouth, Seaton and the rest of East Devon with cakes ever since."

Celebrating all things for Chris and Clive's 82nd birthday. They celebrated with family at the lovely Blue Ball on Sunday.
And what sums up Cornwall more than giant seagulls nicking your chips, a Rowe’s Cornish Bakers cornish pasty washed down with a St Austell Brewery Proper Job whilst flicking through the pages of the The Cornish Times ....... and for pudding? Scones with jam and cream, of course! JAM FIRST! Obviously! Now im a Devon girl but I eat my scones the cornish way because its the only way! How do you eat yours?
