Wow, wow, wow where have the last 7 years gone? I really can’t believe we have been offering pre show suppers for 7 whole years!!
Thank you so so much to each and every person who has eaten with us and a huge thank you to Ropetackle Arts Centre for accommodating us.
Also a big thank you to my amazing husband Barry, without him there wouldn’t be any Lesley’s Kitchen. Here’s to the next 7 years. 👍

Dear Facebook friends

I am delighted to say that Lesley’s Kitchen at Ropetackle will be up and running again as of Thursday May 20th.

Barry and I are very excited to be able to get back to offering pre-show suppers at Ropetackle again and we can’t wait to see you all, we have missed you. We are so pleased to be able to continue working with Ropetackle and, as always, we are very grateful to them.

We are going to be limited on numbers at first, but are hoping to increase as and when government guidelines allow.

Hello to all my Facebook friends. Hope you are all keeping safe and well and have had a thouroughly brilliant summer.
Letting you all know that I am still baking and delivering (free to Shoreham and Lancing), cake boxes (£10.00),double chocolate brownies (my best seller, loads of lovely reviews), large whole cakes (from £14.00), individual cupcakes, scones (cheese, plain and fruit) and tray bakes.

A little heads up re our meals at Ropetackle throughout August. This is your last chance to book for next weekend, either Friday 28th or Saturday 29th. The menus are:

Friday 28th August
Antipasti
Honey mustard chicken OR
Steamed fish with ginger & spring onions OR
Mushroom and nut roast All served with dauphinoise potatoes and veg
Strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake

Saturday 29th August
Antipasti
Venison with chilli and chocolate OR
Lemon & herb-crusted fish OR
Lentil & spinach en croute. All served with dauphinoise potatoes and veg
Chocolate and raspberry creams

Hello lovely friends

I want to let you know that during August I will be offering a three course meal at Ropetackle for £19.00. This is starting this Friday, 7th at 7.30.

The menu for this week is:

Antipasti
Chicken chasseur OR
Steamed Fish with ginger and spring onions OR
Mushroom & nut roast All served with dauphinois potatoes and veg
Lemon trio - posset, lemon & blueberry slice, lemon meringue

The other dates throughout August are: Saturday 8th, Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd, Friday 28th and Saturday 29th. This is open to patrons, friends and volunteers at Ropetackle. But I’m sure Ropetackle wont mind if I open this up to everyone. Due to current circumstances there is a limit of 25 covers and up to 6 per table.

We are so very grateful to Ropetackle for asking us to do this and we can reassure you that all safety precautions are being taken in these very strange times.

So if you fancy coming to see for yourself how Ropetackle is looking and how we are all dealing with this situation, give me a ring or message me to book your table.

Thought I’d re-post an updated list of cakes/cake boxes I can deliver locally to Shoreham and Lancing.

I can supply a box of 10 individual cakes:

2 x double chocolate brownies
2 x feel good flapjacks (apricots and seeds)
2 x all butter shortbread
2 x jam and buttercream sponge
2 x individual carrot cakes with cream cheese frosting.

The cost for a box is £10.00.

I can also provide whole cakes, which cut into at least 10 slices:

Jam and buttercream - £14.00
Coffee and pecan - £17.00
Chocolate sponge with white chocolate sprinkles - £16.00
Carrot Cake with cream cheese frosting (10 slices) - £20.00
All butter shortbread (16 slices) - £10.00
Double chocolate brownies (16 slices) - £13.00

Also newly added to the menu are some vegan cakes:

Coffee and walnut sponge (10 slices) - £17.00
Carrot cake with ‘cream cheese’ topping (10 slices) - £15.00
Flapjacks (12 slices) - £11.00

These would all be delivered straight to your door, no extra charge.
