We're looking for the right people to take on The Leeds Arms as a self-employed live-in manager.
The Leeds Arms is a busy, well-established community pub with a fantastic reputation. It's a predominantly wet-led business with a loyal customer base, regular live entertainment, live sport, pub teams and annual festivals that have become a big part of the local calendar.
The pub also has a kitchen, giving you the opportunity to introduce a simple food offering if you wish. Any food operation would be yours to run, and you would retain all of the food income.
If you're passionate about cask ale, you'll be right at home. We already have a strong cask following and give our operators plenty of freedom to source quality beers from local breweries and keep the range fresh and interesting.
The accommodation is spacious, making it an ideal opportunity for a couple or family looking to make a pub their home as well as their business.
We've had the tenancy at The Leeds Arms for over 10 years and are incredibly proud of what it's become. Our current managers have been with us for the past eight years, which we feel says a lot about both the business and the way we work with our operators. We believe in giving people the support they need while allowing them the freedom to run the pub as their own.
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience running or managing a pub.
Loves being part of the local community.
Can deliver a great customer experience.
Enjoys organising entertainment, events and building trade.
Wants to develop an already successful business while bringing their own ideas to it.
