If there's one thing Seahouses isn't short of, it's dogs.

You lot are absolutely everywhere. 😂

And honestly? We love it.

From the tiny ones being carried around like royalty to the enormous ones who appear to have their own postcode, we're always happy to see our four-legged visitors. ❤️

So today is for all the Élan regulars with four legs, wagging tails and absolutely no intention of paying the bill.

Give them an extra treat from us. 🐾

A little Élan update ❤️

After giving our new lunch service a really good go, we've made the decision to pause daytime opening for the foreseeable future.

Paul's leg isn't doing particularly well, and the extra hours aren't doing it any favours either. As much as we'd love to keep pushing on, sometimes you have to admit when something isn't quite working for the people behind the scenes.

So, for now, we'll be opening from 5pm and concentrating on our evening service.

We absolutely loved seeing so many of you coming in for lunch, and we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported it, tried the new menu and gave us such lovely feedback.

Hopefully, when Paul's leg is behaving itself again, we'll be able to bring lunch back.

For now, it's pizza from 5pm. 🍕❤️

How is that even possible?

Summer is flying by, so if you're heading to Seahouses over the next few weeks, make sure Élan is on the list.

A little update for this weekend. ❤️

Unfortunately, we won't be opening for lunch this Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

We've really tried to make the lunchtime service work, but we're currently a little short on staff. Rather than stretch the team too thin and risk not giving you the Élan experience we expect, we've decided to pause lunch service for this weekend only.

The good news is, lunch will be back next weekend. 🥖☀️

We'll still be opening as usual from 5pm this weekend, with the full evening menu available.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our new lunch service so far. We've absolutely loved seeing so many of you through the doors, and we're looking forward to getting back to it next weekend. 🍕

A little moment that made me smile today...

A lady walked past with her husband and son, pointed at Élan and said:

"That's that pizza place everybody is talking about”

She'll probably never know she made my day.

As a small independent business, those are the moments that mean the most. Not because of advertising or big marketing campaigns, but because people are recommending us to each other.
