A Historic and Proud Evening The Crown Inn Cholderton
On Saturday, 9th May 2026, we were deeply honoured to welcome the newly elected Mayor of Salisbury, Councillor Jenny Bolwell, to The Crown Inn following her successful election day celebrations.

To be chosen as the venue where the Mayor and distinguished guests gathered to dine and reflect on such a special occasion was a true privilege for all of us at The Crown. The evening was filled with warmth, friendship, community spirit, and celebration values that sit at the very heart of our pub.

We would like to extend our sincere congratulations to Councillor Jenny Bolwell on becoming the 765th Right Worshipful Mayor of the City of Salisbury. We wish her every success during her term of office and thank her for allowing The Crown Inn to be part of such a memorable and historic day.

Moments like these remind us how important community spaces are in bringing people together and creating lasting memories for our city.

Whether you’re serving, a veteran, local to the area, RAF, Army, Navy or simply looking for a proper midweek night out with good people....pull up a chair.

As a veteran of the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, community and camaraderie have always mattered to us here at The Crown Inn 🇬🇧
