What an incredible Bank Holiday weekend! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us at The Crown Inn from our Classic Car gathering and Sunday Roast to everyone who stopped by for food, drinks and a Bank Holiday catch-up.

After a wonderfully busy few days, The Crown Inn will be closed today to give our team a chance to reset, restock and get everything ready to welcome you back.

Thank you once again for supporting our little pub and making the weekend such a success. 🥂

LIVE-IN PUB MANAGEMENT TEAM – THE CROWN INN, CHOLDERTON

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on two-person management team to take over the day-to-day running of The Crown Inn in Cholderton.

Ideally, one person will have strong pub/front-of-house management experience, while the other is confident with kitchen and food operations.

Between you, responsibilities will include:

- Running the pub day to day
- Managing staff and rotas
- Bar and customer service
- Kitchen and food service
- Stock ordering and stocktakes
- Cellar management
- Cash and EPOS reconciliation
- Maintaining food hygiene, licensing and Health & Safety standards
- Controlling labour, stock and wastage
- Supporting events and promotions
- Reporting regularly to the owners

We are looking for a reliable, commercially minded team who can confidently run the Crown as their own day-to-day operation.

Package includes:

- Private live-in accommodation
- Competitive combined salary
- Performance-related bonus
- 3-month probation period
- Long-term opportunity for the right team

A Personal Licence and previous pub management experience would be highly desirable.

Something a little different is happening this evening…the local Royal Artillery Hunt will be stopping by during their evening hound exercise, bringing horses, hounds and riders to The Crown for a well-earned pub stop.

And, as luck would have it… it’s Wednesday Bikers Night too!
