🏆 CONGRATULATIONS! 🏆

Huge congratulations to the Ormonde Fields Taskers B Team on winning through to the Taskers Trophy Final! 🎉⛳

The final will be played at Beeston Fields Golf Club on 20 September, where they take on Lees Hall Golf Club from Sheffield.

It would be fantastic to see as many OFGC members as possible there to get behind the team, show our support and hopefully cheer them on to victory! 👏🏆

On Monday our Team hosted another fantastic Mixed Open AMAM and raised some good funds for the charities.
The winners of the day were:
Ladies Nearest the pin on 3, Kay Kearton.
Gents Nearest the pin on 16, Gideon Giwa.
The overall winners of the competition were:
First place with 89 points!
Olivia Dowling, Richard Bell, Ethan Bell and Andbye Mtandwa.
Second place with 83 points!
Kay Kearton, Carol Simpson, Paul Coope and Dave Rhodes.
Third place with 81 points!
Lady Captain Lesley Henderson, Patrick Wynne, Harry Wynne and Dave Nightingale.
Well done to all the winners and thank you all so much for your generosity and for all the support in attending these events. This year has truly been another special one for Ormonde Fields.

A message from our Captain Steve.
What a wonderful day it was at Norwood, I would like to thank the 54 people that played and hope everyone enjoyed it.
From me as captain I must say how humbling it was to see everyone, also thank you for all the generosity from the winners in donating their winnings to the captains charity.
I would also like to thank Joe for doing a sterling job as my VC, and thank Cosy for doing the cards.
Our winners were.
First place; George Essex with a fantastic 45 points.
Second place; Tom Haney c/b 43 points.
Third place; Bob Roberts c/b 43 points.
Fourth place; Gideon Giwa 41 points.
First place Blind Betterball.

Second place BBB
Craig Langton and Andbye Mtandwa 75 points
Most importantly our biggest loser was Rob Pearson with a massive 23 points winning a handful of sauces.

A brilliant day had by all on the course and in the clubhouse afterwards with a huge amount of money raised!

-Winner of Joe’s We**ie comp was Carl Powel with an unreal score of 260 points!

-Winner on Steve’s balls was Ian Longdon with a great guess of 631 with the actual number being 626.

CAPTAINS WEEKEND!
Well a fantastic weekend comes to a close for the Captains Steve and Lesley!
After an incredible Captains Day on Saturday a day full of horrendous pin positions and a HOLE-IN-ONE! Some of the members then went on the Captains Sunday driver to Belton Woods for 2 brilliant days of competitive golf!
Day 1 was the singles stableford comp with Lady Captain Lesley taking the money with an amazing 40 points!
Day 2 was an AMAM with the winners scoring an unbelievable 97 points!
Well done to Dave Ellis, Bob Roberts, Russ Harvey and Steve Bower!
Now time for a rest ready for the Charity open on the 25th of July! Get your team in asap!
