The main A6108 road that passes our village is closed for essential maintenance between (wait for it) the 27th July - 4th September! 🙄

Obviously the timing couldn't have been worse, but NYC have blamed the MOD on the daft dates.

Academic, we are obviously open for business as usual, a diversion is in place from the Richmond end and you can access from the Leyburn end as usual.

We hope you can still come and visit us over the busy 🤞period 🙏

We're experiencing a bit of an anomaly so far today as we've got no customers!! 😳

However we are looking very busy this weekend, Sunday is now fully booked for lunch up until 2pm, but we're happy to keep taking bookings later into the afternoon.

So if you fancy a later lunch from 2.30pm onwards, let us know and we'll do our utmost to accommodate ❤️🍻

Our Guinness micro draught dispenser has arrived!

"What the hells that??" we hear you say...

Well, they're bloody hard work to get one installed, but now we have, it will pour the best 0% Guinness pint.

The only thing is we've got no guinness cans for the gizmo until Friday, so it's currently for show only 😂🍻

We're continuing to enjoy a busy trade since we arrived and we still haven't really unpacked yet!

Just before the summer period hits, we're hoping to have installed some new kitchen equipment, the benefit to you being that we should be a little bit more efficient which means that the waiting times should be a bit shorter and we'll be able take on more covers 👌

We're really enjoying our early days here, and we've got a great team. Thank you for your support and the very warm welcome you've given us, it's all been a bit overwhelming! 🙏

In a nutshell, we feel extremely lucky and privileged to live and work here❤️
