We have been exclusively chosen by Samuel Allsopp & Sons and Kirkstall Brewery to help celebrate the exclusive launch of the new Allsopp’s IPA! The George and Dragon, Hudswell is one of only 5 venues throughout Yorkshire to be taking part in this launch, and we couldn’t be happier!

🍺 What’s new?? 🍺

This IPA is brewed taking inspiration from the original recipe found in a ledger dating back 200 years - an 1822 recipe famed as the first viable IPA!

Brewed in collaboration with Kirkstall Brewery, the new Allsopp’s IPA is balanced, with malt character and a bitterness that relates to its brewing heritage, whilst now being an unmistakable contemporary cask b**r!

You can find this on our bar from tomorrow, (Friday 16th October) but when it’s gone… it’s gone! Be amongst the first to try it!!

We often get asked if we are dog friendly. We LOVE dogs at the GnD! We have cosy tables for them to snuggle under or a beautiful b**r garden for them to explore. Our barman Alex is renowned as the resident dog whisperer as well! Our newest gorgeous local pup is Wigeon 🐾🦆 why not post your pooch enjoying the GnD in the comments!
