We know it’s only October, but behind the scenes at The Petersham Christmas is beginning to take shape.

From 18 November, our restaurant will be dressed for the season — festive lunches overlooking the Thames, candlelit dinners and a little guaranteed snowfall every day. You may even spot Father Christmas along the way…

We’ve been serving our pre-match Rugby Lunches at The Petersham for an incredible 48 years — and some things are too good to change. From our twice-cooked lobster soufflé to our famous steamed Steak & Kidney pudding, a proper lunch around the table then on to Twickenham for the match.

England v Australia — 8 November
England v Japan — 14 November
England v New Zealand — 21 November
Finals — 27–29 November

Autumn is here 🍂

The trees along the Thames are beginning to turn, mornings have a little more chill to them and the fabulous view from our restaurant is slowly shifting from green to gold.

Here at The Petersham, autumn calls for something seasonal from the kitchen, a room with a view and, after a walk along the river, a cosy drink from the bar.
